Vagus Nerve Syndrome

The vagal nerves are a key part of the parasympathetic nervous system because they carry signals between your brain, heart and digestive system. These nerves play an important role in the sensory and motor functions in your body that you cannot control. Damage to the vagus nerve could lead to gastroparesis. Vagus nerve syndrome is also known as vagus nerve dysfunction.
